Berkeley Security Bureau (Forensic) Limited Environmental Policy

1. Policy Statement

i. Berkeley Security Bureau (Forensic) limited recognises its corporate responsibilities towards both the environment and the community in its roles as employer and consumer. We believe in the importance of environmental protection and improvement.

ii. We recognise that our day to day business activities have direct and indirect environmental impacts, and endeavour to manage these in a responsible manner. We are committed to minimising our impacts on the environment and will also encourage our business partners and members of the wider community, of which we are a part, to reduce theirs.

iii. We will seek to apply best practice in environmental management. Through its environmental programme, we will strive to:

* integrate environmental considerations
* development and implementation of corporate policy,
* business decision making, development and delivery of our services, purchasing and supplier management
* exploit opportunities to maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impact through our working practices, in areas such as energy management, paper usage, waste reduction and recycling, and communications
* manage our building and facility by integrating environmental actions into our business plans; develop human resources policies which will raise awareness, encourage and enable staff to make an effective contribution to environmental improvement, both in work and within the local community;

iv We will conduct annual self assessment of our performance in implementing these principles and in complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

v We fully recognise that we each have our part to play in contributing to environmental improvement. We readily accept our corporate commitments and will continuously work to demonstrate responsibility in all environmental, social and community issues.

2. Purpose

i. The policy statement makes clear to the widest internal and external audience Berkeley Security Bureau (Forensic) Limited’s recognition of the significance of the environmental challenge for its business and for society and shows how it will engage to meet the various challenges and opportunities.

3. Responsibilities

i. The Managing Director is the sponsor of the Company’s environmental programmes.

Environmental Policy

We will ensure that every aspect of our activities is conducted in accordance with sound environmental practices.

We will achieve this by:

* Minimising the consumption of natural resources and energy.
* Reducing the creation of waste by the adoption of improved operating practices and by the recycling of materials whenever practical
* Ensuring all waste is disposed of in a safe and responsible manner
* Repairing and recycling equipment where possible
* Complying with environmental legislation

Berkeley Security Bureau (Forensic) Limited aims to foster among its staff, suppliers, customers, shareholders and communities local to its operations and understating of environmental issues in the context of its business. Our collective task is to ensure that we continually improve the environmental impact of our activities.

By this policy Berkeley Security Bureau (Forensic) Limited recognises its responsibility towards protection of the environment, and issues this statement as a commitment of both management and employees to minimising the environmental impact of its operations.
